Board of Directors and Administrator

The Georgetown Skating Club is operated as a non-profit community-based organization providing skating development programs for the membership. The volunteer Board of Directors oversees the program delivery, financial management, policy and governance, staffing and ongoing operations of the club.

There are 9 Board Members including the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Board Secretary, Directors (4) and Coach Representative. These positions are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting and serve either one to two year terms.

The Board of Directors meet monthly to make decisions on behalf of the membership. Summaries of the Board Meetings are available to the membership for review below.

There are also 4 subcommittees of the Board that meet regularly to assist with the club operations:

The Georgetown Skating Club has been fortunate enough now to have a staff person to provide administrative support in the area of Registration.
